Sumatra School on Internet Governance (SumatraSIG) is a capacity-building program aimed at empowering youth and women across Sumatra in digital resilience, cybersecurity, and internet governance. This initiative will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to engage in internet policy discussions, strengthen their digital security, and advocate for inclusive and sustainable internet governance.

The program includes a three-day intensive bootcamp covering:

This yearโ€™s SumatraSIG will bring together participants from Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Riau, creating a regional platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing. The event will also feature expert speakers from academia, government, civil society, and the tech industry.

SumatraSIG is designed as a three-day intensive in-person training combining expert-led discussions, hands-on workshops, and interactive group activities. The program ensures that participants not only gain theoretical knowledge but also develop practical skills to engage in internet governance and digital resilience initiatives.
